The Carolina Reaper

The Carolina Reaper has officially been the world's hottest chilli pepper now for a number of years, as ranked by Guinness Records. It's been bred purely for heat, by combining the Sweet Habanero chilli and Naga Viper chillies by Ed Currie from the The PuckerButt Pepper Company.

The Carolina Reaper even looks like the meanest chilli on the block, with it's deep red, waxy coating, it's knobbly texture and it's tail, warning you that pain is imminent!

Surprisingly enough though, this pepper doesn’t just have heat, but a sweet, fruity flavor to go with it as well.

Trinidad Moruga Scorpion

This pepper is a native to the lands of Moruga in Trinidad and Tobago, and the exotic heat transfers very nicely to this flavoursome chilli pepper.

Although this pepper lacks the stinging tail of its brethren, don't let that fool you. It's snapping at the Reaper's tail when it comes to levels of heat!

7 Pot Douglah

A firm favourite within the chilli pepper community, the 7Pot Douglah is the hottest non-red pepper available. This superhot chilli pepper is rather convincing as a standard pepper, with many believing it to be a chocolate habanero, but once you sink your teeth into it, you'll know the power behind it's punch.

The 7 Pot Primo

Created by horticulturist, Troy Primeaux, the 7 Pot Primo has the looks and flavour to take on the big boys. It's skin and tail are similar to the Carolina Reaper, but is much more slender than its short and squat friend. Tasting similar to the Carolina Reaper, this is a chilli that works fantastically well in hot sauces and dishes. If you can find it!

Trinidad Scorpion "Butch T"

The Trinidad Scorpion was once the King of chillies. Back in 2011, this beautiful little pepper was crowned the hottest chilli in the world by Guiness World Records. Just looking at the Trinidad Scorpion fills people with fear. With that knobbly, deep red texture, and the tail that curls up to look like its namesake, you know you're in for a treat with this super hot chilli!

Carolina Reaper EXTRA Hot Sauce

Over the past year, one of our biggest selling products has been our 'Fear the Reaper' hot sauce. By combining freshly grown, locally sourced fruit & veg with the hottest chilli in the world, we created a sauce that was not only extra hot, but had a real, substantial, fresh flavour to back up the heat.
